Murcott Mandarins Large
The Murcott mandarin, or 'honey tangerine', is mandarin-sweet orange hybrid. Mandarins are smaller than oranges and taste is considered sweeter, stronger and less sour. They are usually eaten plain, but can be delicious in a fruit salad. A ripe mandarin is firm to slightly soft, heavy for its size and pebbly-skinned. They're a good source of vitamin C and a useful source of dietary fibre.
